Terms and conditions
The rules for using this site: what you may do with it, what we offer, and the limits of what we can promise.
1. Scope
TANAW KAPWA is a bilingual magazine devoted to Filipino culture. These terms govern the use of the site and of the free services you find on it: reading the articles, subscribing to the newsletter, sending messages and booking a meeting with the editorial team.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use it.
The site is operated by STREAM APS, registered office at Via degli Umiliati, 44 - 20144 Milano (MI), Italia, VAT no. C.F. 98007260155.
2. Content and intellectual property
The text, photographs, illustrations, trade marks and layout of this site are protected by copyright and belong to the publisher or to those who licensed their use. You may read them, share links to them, and quote short extracts provided you credit the source and link to the original article.
You may not reproduce, translate, republish or use the content for commercial purposes without written permission. To request it, write to info@followurstream.com.
3. Newsletter
Subscribing is free, voluntary and requires confirmation by email: until you open the link we send you, the subscription is not active and you receive no further messages. You may unsubscribe whenever you wish, with immediate effect, using the link at the bottom of every email.
We promise neither a sending frequency nor continuity of service: the newsletter may be suspended or discontinued at any time.
4. Booking meetings
Booking a meeting with the editorial team is free and places no obligation on either side. Please cancel in good time if you cannot attend.
We reserve the right to cancel or move a meeting, letting you know at the email address you gave.
5. Commercial enquiries, plans and support
The pages describing plans, partnerships and ways to support the magazine are for information only and do not amount to an offer to the public within the meaning of Article 1336 of the Italian Civil Code. Submitting the partner form is a request for information: it concludes no contract and creates no payment obligation.
No purchases or payments are made through this site: any commercial relationship, including its financial terms, is agreed separately and in writing between the parties.
Should online sales or donations be introduced in future, this page will be supplemented with the terms of sale, pre-contractual information, right of withdrawal and legal guarantee of conformity required by the Italian Consumer Code.
6. Acceptable use
In using the site you undertake not to:
- send through the forms any content that is unlawful, offensive or harmful to the rights of others;
- enter another person's email address or details in the forms without their consent;
- attempt to reach restricted areas, or to compromise their security;
- overload the site with automated or repeated submissions.
The forms are protected by limits on how often they can be submitted. Where they are abused, we may block access to the services.
7. Links to third-party sites
The site contains links to sites run by others, including the magazine's social profiles and our partners' websites. We have no control over those sites and are not responsible for their content or for how they process data: once you follow the link, their terms and notices apply.
8. Availability and liability
We take care over the content, but we cannot promise it is always complete, current or free of errors, nor that the site will be available without interruption: maintenance, faults and causes beyond our control may make it temporarily unreachable.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that the law does not permit to be excluded, including the rights available to consumers.
9. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy notice; the cookies in use are listed in the cookie policy.
10. Changes
We may update these terms, for instance when the services on offer change. The version that applies is the one published on this page at the time you use the site, with the update date shown below.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. The courts of Foro di Milano have jurisdiction over any dispute.
If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence or domicile have exclusive jurisdiction, as provided by Article 66-bis of the Italian Consumer Code: no clause in these terms may depart from that.
This document is also available in Italian. Should the two versions differ, the Italian text prevails.
